Email verification for Klaviyo

Find the addresses that bounce before you send. Mailbite checks syntax, domain, mail server, disposable providers and the mailbox itself, without sending a message.

  • 100 free verifications every month
  • No plugin to install

Why verify in Klaviyo

Stores collect mistyped and throwaway addresses at checkout and in pop-ups. Clean profiles keep welcome and abandoned-cart flows from bouncing.

A Mailbite account and a CSV export from Klaviyo. The free plan covers 100 verifications a month, so you can test a sample first.

How it works with Klaviyo

  1. In Klaviyo open Audience, then Lists & Segments, open the list or segment and export it as CSV.
  2. Upload the CSV to the bulk verifier and download the result files.
  3. Import the results back into Klaviyo (Audience, Import profiles) mapping the email and the result column to a custom property such as email_check.
  4. Add the invalid addresses to your suppression list so Klaviyo stops sending to them.
  5. Create a segment where email_check is valid and use it for campaigns. Keep risky profiles out of key flows until you have tested a small send.

A tip: Clean the list a week before a big sale, so there is time to fix surprises.

What the results mean

  • Valid: The mailbox exists. Send.
  • Invalid: The address cannot receive mail. Remove it.
  • Risky: Accepts mail but cannot be confirmed, for example a catch-all domain. Send in small batches and watch bounces.
  • Unknown: The server did not answer. Retry later.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a Klaviyo integration?

No native integration. You export, verify and update profiles, and you can call the API from your store or automation for new sign-ups.

Verify before or after importing a list?

Before. Verify every file first, then import only the addresses you mean to send to.
